The short version: Dozr does not collect, store, sell, or share any
personal data. Everything happens locally in your browser.
What Dozr does with your data
Dozr reads information about your open tabs — title, URL, when a tab was last used, and
whether it is pinned or playing audio — for one reason only: to decide which tabs to
suspend, restore, or list in the extension. This information is processed on your device
and is never transmitted to us or to any third party.
What is stored, and where
Your settings (idle time, allowlist, interface language) are saved with your browser's storage. If you are signed in to your browser, they sync across your own devices via your browser vendor. We have no access to them.
Your saved sessions (the tabs you choose to save) are stored locally on your device only. They are never uploaded anywhere.
What Dozr does not do
No accounts, no sign-up, no login
No analytics and no tracking of any kind
No advertising
No selling or sharing of data — there is no data to sell
No remote code execution
Permissions and why they are needed
tabs — to list open tabs, detect which are inactive, and suspend, restore or count them.
storage — to save your settings and your saved sessions.
alarms — to run a lightweight periodic check for tabs that have been idle past your chosen threshold.
Removing your data
Uninstalling Dozr removes its settings and saved sessions from your browser. You can also
delete individual sessions at any time from the extension.

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new
date above.
